Who will remember,
The valiant battles fought in error,
The lives, loved and lost,
Sworn to the sword,
Died by the edge.
Eternity continues,
Sunken by generations,
But soon forgotten,
Blood still stains the past.
The unknown skeleton,
Lies in bristling sand,
Died for what he believed in,
Who will tell?
Death will become us,
But few are legends.
